Our “Used Entertainment Buyback Program” at Hastings supporting the Amarillo Museum of Art’s efforts to raise funds in support of “Madame Recamier” is still in progress through July 31st. So far, we have raised over $600 – I just took my donations in this morning - I took in 5 and every little bit helps. Please stop by your favorite Amarillo Hastings location this week with your gently used Books, CDs, DVDs and Video Games to lend support to this cause (and clean out a little clutter at the same time!) Also, on Friday we’re bringing Madame Recamier to Hastings on Georgia for a public party from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. to celebrate your generous efforts. Refreshments and prizes will be served. Ten Weeks of Discovery Tonight!

Join us tonight for another fun Ten Weeks of Discovery event from 6-8pm at the Georgia Street Hastings store located at 2020 S. Georgia Street in Amarillo, TX. This week is science week and we will have stations set up where your kids will receive a mythbuster kit and have the opportunity to build their own water powered rocket and build and pilot a helicopter.
